Social Media Intern
Posted: November 2011

The Arizona Interfaith Alliance for Worker Justice is a non-profit Worker Rights Center (WRC) that supports Arizona’s workers through service provision/ case management, education, outreach and advocacy to improve workplace conditions and pay.

The WRC is seeking a Social Media Intern to assist center staff in maintaining the AZWRC website, Facebook page, and Twitter account with current information, pictures, and upcoming event details. The intern will also use footage gathered from AZWRC meetings and events to create videos that will be used to advertise center services and inform the community about our Anti-Wage Theft campaign.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of video editing software, graphic design, social media platforms, great verbal & written communication skills, and an interest in social justice and learning more about worker rights on a local and global scale.

This internship is unpaid. However, center staff has previously worked with ASU for students to earn class credit. The time commitment for this position can be anywhere from 10 to 20 hours per week.

To submit a cover letter and resume (and examples of any previous video or design work if applicable), email Mariana at mariana.azwrc@gmail.com.
