Our Accomplishments

Although at times it may seem we're fighting an up hill battle against unfair employers, the Arizona Worker Rights Center along with its worker members have accomplished significant victories in worker's rights awareness and in ensuring that employers respect these rights. Read below about our yearly and monthly accomplishments that we'll keep updating month-to-month!

Yearly Accomplishments
 
From May 2010 to April 2011, the Center and its worker members have:

Managed 72 cases affecting 127 low-wage workers

Taught 240 workers about their labor and civil rights
----------------------------------
Trained 33 workers through our specialized leadership course

Monthly Accomplishments

For the month of June 2011, the Center and its worker members have received notice that:

$28, 754.75 have been awarded to our worker members who filed cases of Wage Theft against their employers

$29,177.75 collected and returned to those worker members who filed these cases.
